The things people ask us
How do I know if my roof can be restored?
If the tiles or sheets are structurally sound, a restoration is almost always possible, even when a roof looks well past it. Broken tiles get replaced and bad pointing gets redone as part of the job. We will tell you honestly after we have been up there and looked.
Is the quote really free?
Yes. We come out, look at the whole roof, and give you a written, itemised price. There is no charge and no obligation to book.
How much does a roof restoration cost?
We price by area: $18 a square metre for tile and $20 a square metre for Colorbond. What you actually pay depends on the size of the roof and how much repair work it needs, which is why we quote on site rather than over the phone. The quote is free, and there is no deposit.
What paint do you use?
We coat with Dulux AcraTex, applied at the correct spread rate over a proper primer. Skimping on coats is the main reason a cheap roof paint job starts fading within a couple of years.
Do you do Colorbond and metal roofs?
Yes. Metal roofs get washed down, rescrewed where the fixings have let go, any rust treated and primed, then resprayed in your colour. Treating rust early is far cheaper than replacing sheets later. Colorbond starts from $20 a square metre.
Do you take a deposit?
No. We do not take a deposit on any job. You pay once the work is done and you are happy with how it looks.
What warranty do I get?
Every restoration carries a 12 year warranty. On top of that, if anything is not right we come back and fix it.
